AdoptMe Canada Recommends:

Babies & Cats

Parents are always afraid when they have babies or young children of cats scratching. However declawed cats are more prone to bite if their claws are removed. Cat saliva is toxic is humans, to the point where if the bite becomes infected you might require hospitalization.

A study on pet finder stated that *declawed cats are not safe with children*.

This is my nephew in the video & he is in a house full of cats. He does not have a scratch. As the video states the cats whom dislike him keep their distance. Mason is 1 year of age and has little to no exposure to cats.

Just like your children, cats are trainable. We teach them with love and kindness. There is no need to declaw.
